Bedtime Story

We looked at 'Astronaut Puzzles' by Stella Maidment & Daniela Dogliani.

Tristan is learning about space, stars and planets this week so this book was the perfect choice.

The book invites you to solve over 30 puzzles to help astronaut Alfie find a new planet. Tristan was wonderfully entertained by the story and giggled when I read the alien dialogue. Together we spotted various objects, searched for hidden robots and followed pathways through space to reach the correct destination. He proudly read out some of the words to me - we had so much fun.

Tristan had to use his deduction, memory and visual recognition skills to complete the puzzles which makes it so much more than just a space story book. The illustrations are colourful and they have inspired Tristan to think about what imaginative-space-theme-pictures he can draw tomorrow.

We recommend this fabulous space puzzle book even for a bedtime read as pens are not required.

Ten sparkly stars from us!
