Welcome to this weeks #Homeedlinkup.
Hasn't it been a hot week? I am looking forward to reading lots of summery posts this week because if you are anything like us you will have been spending a large amount of your time in the garden, the park or even at the beach. My boys have a lovely, healthy, up-to-the-brim with vitamin D look about them and for once in my very fair skinned life I also seem to have a bit of a glow - lovely.
Before I mention a few posts from last week can I just remind two lovely ladies ( you know who you are) that I am still waiting for your address details via email so that I can post out your book prizes. I have the Usborne History book and The Heuys None the Number sat on my desk looking very unloved so please forward on your details ASAP so that I can get them out to you both.
I was reminded by Dancing in the Mud last week that an end of year review is a very good idea. I am going to get super-duper organised next week and write down all the children's achievements for the year. Am I the only home-ed mum to have not written one of these down yet?
Peas in a Pod are doing some excellent observational drawing and I applaud their family approach to art. Despite the fact that I'm very artistic and my children seem to have inherited a love for drawing we seldom sit and do an observational drawing. It is a skill which I must help them to develop so thank you to Peas in a Pod for the nudge.
Not Strictly Home-Ed wrote a beautiful analogy for home-ed - if you haven't read it yet then please do because it's lovely.
